Behaviour Support Clinician

Mimi graduated with Honours in Psychology from the University of Queensland and completed her thesis on racial discrimination, an issue she is extremely passionate about. She is also passionate about the normalisation and awareness of mental health, other disorders and individuals seeking out treatment. Mimi believes that everyone should feel safe, equal and welcome in any environment.
Prior to her career as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Mimi had several years of experience connecting and working alongside others through her role as a Disability Support Worker. Mimi is passionate about helping others, having spent time volunteering with organisations such as the St Vincent De Paul Society and 4Voices, and working to raise awareness for road safety for young people.
In her spare time, you can find Mimi at the beach, thrifting for second hand treasures, painting or reading in her hammock.
